Black Swan Archery
All Black Swan bows are made with carbon on the back and ceramic fiber on the belly with a foam core, and bonded with a high-strength carbon-based epoxy. The carbon, ceramic, carbon-based syntactic foam and epoxy are proprietary to Black Swan Archery, not available to other bow companies. The grip is a locator-type grip with a radius pivot point for the web of the hand and over-hanging shelf. The riser comes in both medium and low grips. The window is cut to center. The average brace height is 7 to 7.5 inches. Range of tuning adjustment is 6.5 to 8.5 inches depending on limb used. The nock ends have a ceramic wedge between the layers of foam core and on the backside for additional strength at the tips. The limb wedges are of black linen phenolic. The bow is finished with a catalyzed lacquer which holds up well to the wear and tear of field use. Aluminum riser total bow weight is 2.5 pounds.
